The Ultimate Shoe Making Process
From working on the design to the finishing of the final product, it is a long process to make the footwear, but we will try to explain it to you in short. Today, we are going to tell you how the shoes are made.
In the ever-evolving footwear industry, the trends change faster than you know, and our shoe designers brainstorm over the ideas, consider people’s expectations, and are well aware of what’s trending! After this, there are a lot of feedback rounds from the team to confirm on a particular design.
Step One: Working on the design
Our dedicated team of professionals works on the design from scratch. With multiple designs, there are only a few that get shortlisted by considering what will appeal to our target audience in terms of style, comfort, and the occasion.
Step Two: Selecting the material
After the design is ready, we use only top-notch quality materials to ensure that our customers don’t have to compromise! Mostly, our men’s shoes are crafted in genuine imported leather, and our women’s shoes are created from vegan-friendly materials.
Step Three: Cutting & Assembling
Once the material is finalized, the process of cutting and assembling the shoe begins according to the design, shape, and the toe shape. In this step, stitching is done or glue is used to put the footwear in place, ensuring it has been assembled properly.
Step Four: Shaping
In this next step, the shoe is then shaped properly by fitting in the molds according to the size. There is a different mold for every size to ensure that the shape is intact. The mold gives the footwear its final form, and it is the second last step that is followed in the making of the footwear.
Step Five: Finishing
Lastly, the final step is finishing. This includes adding laces if required for men’s shoes and any other things that need to be adjusted, like the heels or anything else for women’s shoes is also done in this step. Polishing is done if required, and after this step, the product is packed and sent across for the quality check.
After these steps are followed, the prototype is ready to be tested. The comfort, quality, and overall look and feel of the shoes – all the above mentioned factors are tested properly by the team and the feedback is shared. The feedback is then taken into consideration, and the changes are made if required. Once everything falls into place, the product has to be run by the team that does the quality check. After that, the product is packed and ready to be sold.
Quality Check
Once the footwear is completely made, we have assigned a team to run a quality check. If the quality is not on point, the product gets rejected then and there. From the material to the stitching, the quality assessment team thoroughly checks each pair and decides whether it should be approved or not.
